Looking for help!

On May 7, I'm going to be in a trade show for professional women. While most of the booth details are taken care of, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to display my writing work.

I've considered putting my best pieces in a three-ring binder, but that's SO BORING.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd love your input and insight!

  1. Right off the bat...

How big is your booth? You could select a few key pieces to display large (in various sizes of large to make it fun and using great typography) as posters. Integrate that with your logo and maybe your url.

Have postcards on the table with other select pieces. Try moo.com. Moo also has stickers so perhaps a few fun words people could pick up and take with them.

Then I guess if people are interested in reading the whole kit-n-kaboodle, there could be a binder of each piece...

  2. Thank you for your insight, Deb! I like the idea of stickers...for some reason it brings back warm and fuzzy memories of elementary school.

I think taking a couple, really good samples and making them posters might be a an effective way to display my writing samples. And, like you said, I can follow-up with a more intensive binder of writing.

    Thank you!
